Description
The Whale Shark is a slow moving, filter feeding carpet shark. It can live between 80 and 130 years. It is the world’s largest living fish, reaching lengths of up to 60 feet (18 meters). These gentle giants are filter feeders that consume plankton and small fish in tropical oceans worldwide. They are easily identified by their unique white-spotted, dark blue-grey skin pattern.
