Description
Storks are large, long-legged, long-necked wading birds with long, stout bills, often found near wetlands in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Known for building massive, long-lasting stick nests on rooftops and trees, they are often associated with good luck and folklore. White storks are migratory, returning to Europe in March.
Most eat frogs, fish, insects, earthworms, small birds and small mammals.
